As one of many projects I worked on with Philosophy, I was commissioned by the team at Coty to create dense botanical illustrations for four new gift sets: Amazing Grace, Pure Grace, Amazing Grace Ballet Rose and Amazing Grace Bergamot.

The illustrations were designed to be lush botanical wonderlands with scent note ingredients that highlighted each specific collection. See the full project below, along with illustration notes and process details.

The Artwork

While botanical accuracy was key, it was more important to develop a size + scale system that highlighted scent notes in a visually compelling manner. I created an outline of how elements would be scaled across all gift sets to ensure consistency, while keeping details at ideal sizes throughout.

I illustrated all assets in ingredient-specific bundles that could be applied across each layout. It was paramount for each gift set to be unique to its scent notes but still cohesive as a full collection.
